Lead-loss calculator
What the waitingis costing you.
Four inputs, one assumption, and every step of the arithmetic shown. Built to survive being questioned — not to produce the biggest possible number.
Your numbers
Lost to slow response 35%The one assumption here: of after-hours leads left waiting, the share that goes cold or books a competitor before you reply. Default is a deliberately conservative 35%. Move it if you know your own number.
Estimated revenue lost per year
$73,710
Per week$1,418
Per month$6,143
Customers / month6.8
How that number is built
- startLeads per week40
- × 45%arrive after hours18.0
- × 35%go cold before you reply6.3
- × 25%would have closed1.6
- × $900customer value → per week$1,418
Each step narrows the pool and only what survives all four counts. That is why this figure is smaller than the “after-hours leads × job value” number most calculators show — that one assumes every unanswered lead was a guaranteed sale.
What this doesn't claim
- It isn't a promise of recovery. WeSet recovers the slice lost to response time, not every lead in the estimate. Some were never going to buy at any speed.
- It uses your inputs, not benchmarks. The only number we supply is the slow-response rate, and it's adjustable and set low on purpose.
- It ignores second-order losses. Referrals you never got, reviews you never earned, repeat work from a customer who went elsewhere. Real, but not countable here.
